text said "hey u there? haven't heard from you in a while."
I did not text back.

I received the exact same text message on Oct 25, 2012 @ 423pm. The only difference is that they actually included my name after "hey John you there? Haven't hear from u in a while.

This number just text me saying hey then my name and said we have not heard from you in awhile where you been. Then when i replied who is this they replied saying i have to add them on my yahoo messenger to find out i told them they had the wrong number and to kiss my [***]

The same thing just happened to me also, from the exact same number. Obviously a scam.
