How exactly is it a scam? I just spoke with them and they didn't ask for money and they did not request any proprietary information. In fact the call was recorded and they helped me to connect with some very good schools. It honestly saved me a lot of time. We were done within a few minutes and now I am communicating directly with these schools to decide which one would be the best fit for me.
I just had a phone call from this fake company, "college Locate". They are fishing for information from people and taking advantage of people looking for a job. They said they are located out of Phoenix--
But their phone number is a CA area code. I'm addition they are disguising their phone number to look like a local phone (for your home city) number when they call. If you try the phone number they give you 213-915-3156. You will see that the number is out of service
