Got a call from this number saying i refused a doc ument and i had 2 hrs to pay for there services or will be sued. Never had anyone come to my house with documents. It is a scam. They called my house and cell number. When they called the number it came up private.
I received this call today said I refused documents and I had 2 hours to pay them for there services and I needed to call her back Now! She also said she was calling from LPS. It came from a private number and I didn't answer the call and I won't call back because it sounds fishy. No business calls from a private number. Good luck getting me on the phone people!
LPS is a known criminal enterprise pretending to be a debt collector. since they left a message they are now required to do this:
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
They won't of course which proves they are nothing but common crooks.
