This is our third scammer call, faking that they're from the IRS. Robotic "female" voice from "the Internal Revenue Service." Says this 213-928-3152 number is the "hotline" to their office. We saved the recording and will pass it on to the police. Just one more scam from bad people. The first time it was from a live human being (a firmly-voiced woman) threatening action against us in a "federal court." The second time it was a man with a heavy middle-eastern sounding accent with the same threat. Fortunately they have all left recorded messages that can be given to legal authorities.
This had the feeling of a scam, glad this website is here. Is there a legal recourse for us in this situation? I'd love to see these people go to jail.
My phone call was registered to an unknown caller, they never used any of my personal info, no name, phone #, or address. A female robocmall said it was , what sounded like, the IRS, but when replaying it she sounds like she adds a t sound to the end, maybe to avoid any type of litigation, if pursued?! She tells me I'm being sued and this is my final notice. She didn't leave the above #, the one she left me was 315-215-3455. I've never received any other calls, no written notification from the IRS, so I'm hoping this is a scam! [***]!! PS- I refuse to try calling back!
