Got a test message from the following email address [email protected], to call this number: Wells Fargo account issues, only I don't have a Wells Fargo account of any kind.

Got the same text, wells fargo would use a 800 number and probably wouldnt text you

I received a text message telling me to call this number about a Wells Fargo account issue. It appears to be a phishing attempt, as I do not have such an account, and I am not the only one to receive such a message. The email address ([email protected]) is spoofed, as an attempt to reply via text failed due to the email account not existing.
