Partial message left on voicemail: "If you are receiving this message, you are enrolled in the system. Visit NotifyLA.org for more information. Thank you. No further action is required." This may be a SCAM! According to my Google searches, the alert system for LA County is at alert.lacounty.gov.
I rec'd the same msg at about one hour ago. Said You are enrolled in the system, etc., etc., I wondered if it was legit.. Reading your message of half an hour ago, I have my doubts.
Called around 8:30Pm. CID was "LA City Of". Recorded message said something about the test of an alert system that I am enrolled in and gave a website. Since I never enrolled in any LA alert system, this appears to be a scam. Now blocked.
