I received this call today. I did not answer because I generally don't answer calls from numbers I do not know. No voicemail was left so if they are a genuine debt consolidation company, they are not a very good one. Actual debt consolidation companies will be accessible to potential customers, especially ones that they are cold calling.
Since I have no debt worth consolidating, they seem nothing more than telemarketers or scammers who haven't figured out their auto-dialer, yet.
Got this call today at around 7:09 PM. Answered it and it immediately hung up. Called back, got voice mail, replied with, "Douche", hung up, went about my day. Also, the voice on the recording was a woman that sounded like she was from India. I don't know.
recently applied for car loan as well, picked up and she asked my name and then asked what website I was on when I accessed freecreditreport.com. I then asked what this was about and they hung up? Hoping they don't have access to the rest of my information.
