I also got the call, when I returned the call the # seemed disconnected. Must be some terriost stealing our information, the internet is resourceful but scary. Lol! How about I trace the mf's down and glue that phone to there face so all they can do is answer.
If you sign up for a loan (not even complete the information needed as i did) this company calls to ask you how you found there website. There checking up to see where there advertising works best.
I believe that this is a number used by scammers that also use the number (310) 359-0446. Look that number up to see the full scam and what to expect in the next few minutes.
By what is written above, I conclude that they determine whether anyone answers phones by using the (213) 985-3550. If someone answers then they call acting as though a debt or some other issue has caused them to file a lawsuit in LA County court blah, blah, blah... They want to scare you into thinking that you will be sued for XYZ... I think that they (and many others) get their leads from applications for payday loans...
Don't give them any information, its just a scam. Google 310 359 0446 to find out more.
Here is my experience after I received two or three calls from 213 985-3550 I was then called by 310 359-0446...

Ditto, scammer called wanting to know the name of my lawyer so he could send him legal papers about something (couldn't understand) in Los Angeles County. Then he wanted to know my fax number, Then he wanted me to call him back. He gave the name of Brian Watts. But that is an English name (I'm related to a Watts) and he certainly was not of English decent. I came here to check on the number. Thanks all of you for posting. I have blocked his number from calling me using my Skype blocking option.
Caller: gave name of Brian Watts (made up)
Call Type: Debt Collector
