I keep getting calls from this number also. Telling me about some check fraud and that the police will arrest me at my job or home. Can never reach them when I call back, when you do get an answer it says "Thank you for choosing LCI as your long distance service."
I started getting calls from above number in regards to check fraud. I cant understand what this person is saying. I got the number off caller id. THese calls started about a week ago, and right after that person called I got another call from a number 404-935-9192 which there is quite a few complaints in regards to someone calling and stating that my name is associated with a check fraud. Both numbers actually name someone I knew 20 years ago. Both are scams, and are good at what they do. They keep on calling but you can never get a hold of them. I called police and they said do not give them any info. IT IS ALL A SCAM!!
yes i keep getting these calls too so i have waged war on them by continually calling them.. it's almost funny, they don't know what to do. But unless we stand up to this type of fraud they'll keep getting away with it.

WOW - they really try to scare people, don't they? First, you can barely understand them. I called the number and asked what company they are calling from and a fax number. I can never get a fax number out of them. When I told dipwad number 1 on the phone that I received a threatening message and was told to call this number I was told I had a wrong number. I told him they made a HUGE mistake calling the number they did, as my employer keeps all voice mails and emails archived for 9 years. I told him I'd be happy to send him a transcript via email - he hung up.
I tried to call right back - guess what? The number was disconnected - they are FAST!!! \
Please DO NOT FALL for this. They are breaking numerous laws - the worst of whick is threatening to send people to your home or work - they cannot do that - not in America anyway! Just keep asking questions, try to get a phone number, address, contact person - they will go away...and come back as another company - just keep playing..unfortunately that's all we can do. Do not let it make you nervous - but DO let it piss you off!
I got this call on my cell phone, the person could not speak English and I couldn't understand them.She said I am calling from Law firm and if you don't talk to me you are in big big trouble with police and they will come to your house and to your work. She said that I was being sued for fraud. I couldn't understand her so I hung up on her, I was in my office at the time and as soon as I hung up she tang my work / office line. I told her to not call me at work and to not call my cell phone again and hung up on her again. This is CRAZY
