Got a call from this number today... When I answered it was silent for 5+ seconds...then it started ringing as if I was making the call. Something told me right then I should hang up... but then the thick accented Indian f#ck picked up and started telling me something about him receiving stuff from my computer... I had to have him repeat himself a few times (hopefully that didnt give him enough time to hack my [***]) and then I told him... 1- I can barely understand you...2- NO Im not shutting off my comp.. and 3- Im busy... next thing I heard was click lol dont fall for this bs and I really hope someone catches these dipsh!ts soon!!!
This number 214-161-8166 keeps calling my cell phone and does not leave a message. When I try to return the call to find out who is calling and why I get a message that says this number is not in service. Very Aggrivating.
I got a phone call from an accented gentleman tellig me I had computer errrors and he would help me remove them, he asked me to sign on to www.ammyy.com which would have allowed him to take control of my computer to remove the errors. He claimed to be with google canada but would not give me his phone number or let me run the procedures myself.
SCAMM SCAMM artist never let anyone take control of your system.
1/8/2014 I received the same call, a gentlemen claiming to have received the same error messages that I have been receiving, and he could "help fix the situation" I said thanks, and hung up
I got the same type of call from an accented lady. She claimed to be from Microsoft and that my computer had errors, viruses and error messages and she could get it to run properly. Again SCAMMER! I just hung up on her.
