The caller asked to speak to Mr. or Mrs. 'my last name' (& I haven't been married in 15 years). When I denied being me and kept asking the caller who he was, he continued asking "are you Mrs. 'my last name'? I never answered either way, just kept asking who he was until he finally hung up. I've had calls similar to this in the past where the caller claimed to be with the FBI & had my home on surveillance. I was told to send money to a foreign address or I would be arrested for ordering a prescription online. Obviously I knew it was a scam. So when the caller called back, using a phone number from the D. C. area and gave me a name and rank in the FBI, I warned him the call was being recorded & traced. He hung up and I never heard from him again!! BEWARE OF ALL TYPES OF SCAMS...especially this time of year!
Called my home while I was out. No message left. However, this is not a legit phone number. In the D/FW area there are no prefixes that start with "165". Obviously a scam of some kind.
