Call showed up as Bank of America, but instead it was another robo call about updating Google listings. BA should be all over this and put an immediate stop to it.
CID says "Bank of America," however a Google search doesn't turn up any link to BOA. Caller rang a business line at 2:58 pm on Friday, November 18th. Hung up during voicemail greeting.
called at 3:18 PM CST Dec. 7th, 2016 and upon answering and being greeted, waited 4 secs and then hung up. All a lure to make you call back,
Was some sort of scam about claiming Google listings WHICH IS FALSE. Have been having issues with these crooks for sometime. Finally registered officially on the National Do Not Call Registry before this call today, so when I did reach a somewhat rude woman on the other line after selecting #1 -I told her that I am registered on the DNC list and was told haughtily that " that's not how that works." I told her that I guess call blocking will do the trick then. I am going to email some of the offices in the Consumer Justice and Attorney General's office here in Texas as well with their info. Next time I will record the call and explain that her company is breaking the law and will be shut down.
Caller ID shows BANK OF AMERICA. Rang our primary business line. I could not immediately think of a reason why BOA would want to call us, so sent the call to voice mail. Caller hung up during voice mail introduction. I can't rule out a BOA debt collector searching for one of my employees, but failure to leave a voice message is a pretty good indicator that the call is not legitimate.
