I received an identical phone call (except the call originated from a different number in NYC). I didn't answer the phone, and this is what was left on the answering machine: The caller identified herself as Amanda Jones of the Private Services Division of United Processing. They told me that a complaint has been filed against me that requires my immediate attention. They will make only 2 attempts to send me documentation (making me wonder what happens after that. They will drop a bomb on my head?) I will need to supply 2 forms of ID. If I or my attorney wishes, we can call 844-712-2130 for the client directory (apparently the person or organization that is filing the complaint.) Now that I've discovered that this number originates from near Coffeyville, KS, and that United Processing specializes in landlord/tenant disputes, which makes no sense to me, I'm sure it's a scam. They won't be hearing from me.
Got a call from this number they said they needed to serve me papers due to a complaint filed against me and I needed to confirm my address to get served and to call 8447122130 for questions as they are the was with the original complaint however that number they gave me is a fraud
got the same call told them that I work for the sheriff's office and would be glad to take this dispute and the $2116.xx there. They didn't stop so I spent part of my day calling them back at least 100 times. Now they hang up on me. They wanted me to go to a money gram and immediately send them the funds or I will be arrested within 2 days it's been 2 weeks. Have fun call them back non-stop this causes their lines to be busy.
Received the same call about making attempts to serve me paper work on a complaint they received. Told me to have 2 forms of ID. The client number they wanted me to call to find information was JP Associates and it appears to be a realty company. I don't own property. My guess it's a scam.
