Got a recorded message from Rosemary about having a warrant. Called them back at least ten times knowing it was fraudulent. Mostly got disconnected. Once they swore and said f*** u and hung up. That was after i spoken to them about three times questioning their legitimacy. They knew who I was. Twice I believe I got the same person. Twice it was to a investigation dept. Once the guy said he was mike and I told him how bout we three way call with the IRS. He stated he was from the irs. I told him about how online states the irs never makes calls like the one I got. He told me that he was from the irs repeatedly. After never believing him he stated he would send the cops to my home. I then asked how do you know where I live and where i send the cops since I never said where I was at. Previously they asked if I lived at a certain address I lied and said yes when the address stated was an old address.
I work in a call center. They need a lot of help. I am not five. They didn't educate themselves too well. I told them Trump doesn't like your kind of people. That resulted in a disconnect. They asked me another call if my name was John smith. I said no and stated an incorrect name. I said you can update ny records. Then they disconnected.
My day was entertaining.
Not a smart idea, engaging the scammers. Playing their game by their rules on their turf you'll never win. At the very least you'll get more calls. Or they could "swat" (look up swatting) you. They also could start using your number as a spoofed number when they scam call other people. Wouldn't that be fun?
Got a voicemail from rosemary saying I had a warrant for my arrest. Claimed to be from the IRS. I called back because I was a little scared and the guy right away asked for my social security number. I said I'm sorry I'm not giving out my ssn over the phone and he got mad at me lol.
Who the F*@k are they and how are they getting away with identifying themselves as Federal investigators? Anyone out here have any information on how to catch them and report them and also find out how they know are phone numbers and if they have our social security numbers??? this is pretty ballsy?
