Level 3 Communications customer 214-233-4600 has been calling my cell phone for over 2 weeks, 4 times an hour, beginning at 6:30am every day. I want to know who is calling as there is only a recording that states, "This call is in regard to a business transaction you had once expressed an interest in. To be placed on our 'do not call list', please press one." I press one. Another recording says, "Please enter your 10-digit phone number to be placed on our 'do not call list'." I do so. Then I get, "Thank you. Your number has been placed on our 'do not call list'." BUT THEY KEEP CALLING. When I call the number back, I get the same recording. WTF? Who do I need to call, write, or see in person to stop this outright HARASSMENT????????
They called me today and said they were Proserv and that I filled out a survey (which I do not remember). The were giving away $150 worth of freebies - $50 of which you could keep even if you didn't want to get the service after the 14 days trial. But then they wanted a credit card to start charging $15/mo- I hung up at that point.
