I've been getting calls from this number since Friday, May 15th. The guys name is Bryan Duncan and he is the "Processing Director" for a company called Cornerstone. Supposedly they're based in New York, but this was their Texas branch. He said I owed money to Cash Net USA from October of 2012. He had my personal info but the dates and everything didn't match. Told me I owed over $800 but we could settle for a one time payment of $500 and some odd dollars. He said he had papers in my county ready to be served to me but would put them on hold of I made payment arrangements. And if I failed to pay, I'd be served and I'd pay close to $2000 if it went to court. Problem is, they were going to serve me papers through United Carriers, which can not be done. Legal papers can only be served through your county sheriff's office. Secondly, he refused to mail me any of the info and said it was legal info that only a lawyer could obtain. I guess he thought I wouldn't have a lawyer. THIS IS A SCAM, PEOPLE. Yea, I admit, I was worried when he had all my personal info, but my lawyer called them and he confirmed it was a scam.
