Bob Lance of Lance Investigators called my place of business, I'm the receptionist who rec'vd this call, and he said a few of his people were coming out to take VIN #'s of vehicles, serial numbers of equipment and doing a list of valuables including taking photos. The call back number he gave was 877-455-5472. I asked him "who are you representing, what company hired you?" he mumbled something like Pamela Taylor of Taylor & Tucker. Our company is not familiar with any one by that name, Taylor-Tucker. Bob even gave a file number to ref. . . . . Now, since I found this website, I'm thinking twice about this phone call. I think I'll go outside and call this Bob person on my cell phone.
this is a collection agency in Plano TX named Haller Harlan and Taylor. They have a phone bank of people calling. If you get them off script they're lost. Their web site is HHTlegal.com they are not a law firm but talk like it. They do have a young attorney I guess for show.
I received a call that was left on my answering machine. The man said his name was Jimmy Johnson. He said that he would be out to assess my property and write down license plates numbers from my vehicles, and report his findings to the IRS, and said he would be at my house within 45 minuts and the call was at 8:30 am and noone showed up. This was really weird, and he has tried to call several times during the day and I have avoided his call. He told me that if I had any questions to call John Sparks at 469-298-1200 and speak to John Sparks. The call came up 817-623-5511 on my caller ID. Please respond if anyone else has more info on this strange call. Thanks.
Got the same message today from 512-000-0000. They called from spoofed (fake) numbers. The company is a debt collector, HHT. This script they read is just to scare you into calling them back.

I also recieved a call from a Bob Lance, from Lance Investigators. But their number came up as 270-000-0000, on my caller Id. He also told me that 2 men would be out that same afternoon to take pics of my buisness location, write down serial numbers of my equipment, take numbers of my vehicles, as well as get my credit reports, permits, wanting to talk to my suppliers & creditors, and talk to my bank. The number he gave me to call back was a 214-295-2795 and ask for a Sarah Blake from Blake & Associates. I waited and they did NOT came out. I have a mini taperecorder and I am ready to record our conversation. My call came in on Friday the 23rd of April.
