Just got a call. They left voicemail saying they are serving me legal documents from the county in which I live Man stated they would be bringing them between 12 and 4 on Feb. 5, 2014. They gave a claim number to use when calling back. I know this is a scam. First of all process servers do not call ahead of time to schedule delivery of paperwork (they just show up). Second if it was legal documents it would be a case number and not a claim number. Third I googled the number and found this forum. Fourth I googled the name International Courier Service (name guy said was calling from) and no such name appears.
I got a call from this man at work today saying they were going to serve some kind of legal documents on me between 12 and 4 Friday either at home or work and the place he said he was calling for I have never even heard of. ive been laid off and am behind on everything as it is so if this is a scam I really don't appreciate getting a call like this.
I just got a call from the same People that called my job. talking about delivering some packet from Hewitt. Probably a debt collector. THEY ARE SO FULL OF IT!
I received the same call and they consistantly keep calling and leaving voice mails. I had the number blocked. It is quite annoying!!!! I called and I have absolutely no CLUE as to what they are talking about, they transferred me over to 3 different people (all from a different company name) saying they are trying to collect a debt, HOWEVER I have no dealings with this company or any other company name that they mentioned. I NEVER even heard of any of them.... smh
i wasnt home when they came to my house but there was a note on the door that they came by yesterday... i called them today and just met up with some guy mark for the papers
