I posted a camera on kijiji.ca and within an hour got a reply asking if I can send it to Alabama as well. Offered me triple what I was asking. Used the word friend a lot. English was not so good and sent me many fake emails about PayPal holding money. After a quick Google search I knew PayPal doesn't hold funds ever. He wanted a packing tracking number before I would receive the funds. I can only imagine how many people this person screwed over. If any emails come from ANYONE saying they are from an account on behalf of a company like PayPal it's a fake. Also if it's not directly from and email from @PayPal.com
I posted a ring on craigslist and he wanted me to send the ring before he sent the money through paypal
He was also offering an extra 150$ for shipping
I posted a necklace on kijiji and within an hour received a text message offering $150.00 more than the asking price to include shipping to his "friend". Poor English/grammar. Asked if the item was in good condition and if I had a pay pal account. Fishy and I did not send out the item. BUYERS BEWARE
