Got a text message from 5000, claiming to be from Capital One Bank saying my ATM card has been suspended and urge me to call this number. The only problem is that I don't have such an ATM card.

Got this text message as well, called this number and it said something along the lines of "Sorry, this service is currently unavailable." Called Capital One and asked them to check my account, they said everything was okay.
got a text message as well claiming to be from cap1 bank a few days ago... i knew it was a scam as soon as i received it because i don't even have an account with them. i called the number just to see who it was and it was some automated system asking for account information.. the automated system was so jacked up you could barely understand what it was saying.. haha.. someone did a pretty bad job trying to scam others out of their account numbers.. i called and reported it to cap1.. i just checked the number again today and looks like it's no longer in service.. i hope whoever did this is caught and in jail.. punks!
