Received a call asking for the owner by first name. I asked who was calling and he abruptly told me Gordon. When I said the owner wasn't available, he commented he would "send him an email on this then." Sounded definitely like a telemarker.
Received call from this number and the man on the other end was very very rude and unprofessional........he needs to be fired immediately. He wanted to speak with our president and I told him he was no longer with the company...he ask where did he go and I said he had passed away. HE THEN SAID "OLD CROWS USUALLY DO THAT" I slammed the phone down in his ear!!!!!!!
Tom called asking for the owner. When I asked what company he was with, he told me f & m, and I said please hold. 30 seconds later I came back on the line & asked who he was holding for. He told me & I put him on hold again. Less than a minute later, I asked if owner ever picked up, he said no, & I said the owner should pick up shortly, please hold.
Tom the Moron spent 2 minutes waiting...and waiting... Dumber than a pile of poop.
The lesson here is to take up as much time as possible with these con people.
Person called asking to speak to a specific individual (me). I asked who was calling. He said Tom. I asked Tom who. He said Tom McKinney. I asked what company. He said just tell the person Tom McKinney is on the phone; he will know me. I paused for a second, cupping my hand over the phone, and then said the person does not know any Tom McKinney. He said fine, that he will just call his cell phone then and hung up. Of course, he can't do that because my cell phone # is not public.
