IRS NEVER calls, they will ALWAYS send you a mail and never file a lawsuite as they can DIRECTLY take money from your bank account based upon the law... So dont be worried if you get this message, its more likely from someone that works at the IRS company and is part of the SCAM. Most of the time they will call you on your secondary number that you provided to them... If you have provided them your primary number and the IRS actually calls, they will call you on your main line and not secondary line like they did today....

•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
