Got a call from a company from Texas too...they said that I made a loan from 2011 and I remember doing a loan but I know I paid it back. They said that I can get in trouble for not paying. The only thing that scares me is a friend of mine was taken to small claim court and she lost the case and ended paying more than she should have. I guess taking chances on not paying on a pay day loan could result in a worst situation....make sure to keep receipts, that way you always have proof just in case they try to take you to court.
Called and wanted me to call back to serve subpeona for a court case in Texas - I live in Arizona. I havent been in Texas in over 10 years. I think this is a scam. Does anyone know?
yes they were calling you because of investigastion about some loans that somebody made they were on tx but the loan you took from cash net, cash jar check and go and more of pay day loan that by the person took before they process to your own state they just asking if you want to resolve before going to your state ... they call from tx doesnot meant that they process your case in tx they will process where you took the loan good luck if you refuse to resolve wait for your state to take care of it . i ignore them and refused but after another 6 month my case was forward in our state so end up paying more than 3 times or what they tell me by the investigator i shoud not ignore i wasted time and lot of money because of refusing them the truth is i took this loan but they have proof if they just went deeper which they show to me in court feel bad i try to be smarter than them i failed
