Getting calls from someone who identifies himself as an investigator.. When I spoke to him I asked if he was a Police Officer as he stated he had a case that was forwarded to him.. He told me he was an investigator and tole me he had a case for $21,000 against my wife and I and if they filed it they would file a lein against my home... He tried to get me to verify my social security number and I would not do so nor would I confirm withhim who I was.. finally hung up on him
I received a phone call on my cell from this company. Apparently the call was dropped, when I called back and ask for the person who called, she was rude and tried to shame me by asking if I believed in God and I should pay my bills. Well its amazing that they think by using God's name and using those kind of tactics that are uncalled for, that people are going to buckle down to their intimidation and pay whatever. To question someone's beliefs has nothing to do with what they may or may not owe, iit s just wrong.
I got a message from them today saying that they are going to have their secretary do an asset investigation on me and garnish my wages. They also said they are going to call me at work and embarrass me unless I call them back. The debt they are calling on is over 5-10 years old and it was from a case of identity theft. Either way I think it seemed a bit strange, who tells the person that there going after that there going to look into their assets. Any smart person would not give a forewarning or the person would move their assets. This to me sees like a collector making 10 bucks an hour trying to pretend like he's a professional. I believe my state won't let a collector collect due funds after 2 years. Beware of these guys.
This people try to be tricky when calling you. I said Hello and the Lady from CRS said my name and ask me how I was doing like she knew me then proceeded to tell me her office had a case pending against me. I hung up and she called back and left a voicemail never bother to indicate it was a Collection Call which is required by law. My debit is more than 8 years old and this people are trying to collect.
