Someone from some company called Matthews and Micheals called me looking for my ex-girlfriend. Saying it was in regards to a vehicle that she used to drive a Scion xb. I tried explaining to the guy that I didnt own the car nor was this her phone number. That the number he was calling was my personal cell number. I literally got into a verbal match over the phone with this jerk about the situation. Seriously if this is an investigation company they need to do a better job of researching before attempting to call anyone. I believe the guy that called was named Raul or something of that nature. I asked him how he got my number and he said the city police deptartment gave them the number. I was stupified by this and felt really uneasy. To think hey would call me to speak to someone i dated last year. Where's the privacy?! So fed up with the calls I told them to stop the phone calls because if they didnt I was gonna file a class action lawsuit for harassment. I just couldn't believe what I was listening to...I wish me and this Raul were face to face. Enough said.

This place is calling me once a week asking for Anthony. A couple weeks ago they left a message saying that I MUST get back with them because my phone number is attached to a file. Whatever! I'm blocking them.
They claim to be a private investigative firm out of Dallas but they are nothing more than a repo company. Credit unions, banks etc... hire these yahoos to hire a tow truck guy to pick up your car. These crooks then surf the web and public records like roaches to a piece of food hoping for info on you, your friends, and your family. They claim to be skip tracers but they hounded my family despite having the same address and phone number for 6 years. I am listed in the phonebook. Great work Nancy Drew. Anyway, they sent some slimy tow truck guy who threatened me with a felony for stolen property. Mind you he didnt confirm who I was. He didnt see in my garage. He cant file a felony because he doesnt own the lien, yada yada. I told him to get a court order and leave. Then Matthews and Michaels started calling claiming to be insurance agents telling my family they needed my number to complete a car accident claim. This outfit was sued for unethical practices and found guilty. They will say they dont have to follow debt collector laws because of how they are licenses with the state but my attorney says that is absolutely false and he showed me where Texas law states they must follow the debt guidelines. I hired an attorney to sue them for violations. They shared private info with third parties.
