Say they are US Dept of Justice and ask if I am driving or doing anything where I can't give my full attention. Wondering if they are legit as they are calling my Work Cell only it seems.
I'd like to think they are full of it. Got this call twice in two days, they only left a message once. It was the same as your message. But I am easy to get a hold of. I have a land line that is listed, so I think it's a load of bull.
3 days in a row, I finally answered, asked if I was 18, then said they were recording me as a male... When I said yes she said ok, we are currently only surveying women and said thank and good bye and hung up.
Strange!!
So they have been calling every day since I posted. I finally answered and asked "Who are you looking to speak to?" As they do not ask for a person by name.
She replies "I am looking to speak to whoever uses this phone number" I said, "Put me on your no call list and do call again" She says "I need you to answer two questions and I can let you go"
I said "What are these two questions?" She gave me "Are you over the age of 18?" I did not answer and asked what is the second question? She said I need your 1st answer to continue. I said I am over 18 and then she asked if this was a business or personal cell phone. I said it is a business number which it is and she said okay we are not looking for your type and will take you off.
If you see me reply back to this it is because they called me back.
I do not trust this number and you shouldn't either. They are calling random numbers and for someone who works for Dept of Justice they have no idea who they are calling.
Lady called, said she was from the DoJ doing a survey on women and sexual abuse. Wanted to know some personal details. Could get a $20 check if I cooperated.
They gave the following phonenumber for call back if necessary: (855) 7496249.
But the call was from the number mentioned on this website (214) 3604784.
