She calls herself a locator. Left several messages for someone I don't know and asked that person to call 877-318-4984. I have heard this exact same script from a debt collector (Accurate)... even though when you call this number they call themselves "Comprehensive"
She kept saying they have a claim against the person and that they need to verify the person's home address and place of employment so they can serve him/her some papers and they always end with "you've officially been notified"
Caller ID shows VOXEE, Inc, but that is their IP telecom provider.
When you google VOXEE you can see that these locators have a whole bunch of numbers with different area codes and a lot of people blame VOXEE for the rude and annoying calls. The same script is used by these bozos.
It's a contractor for a debt collector. The company is called LSI. They try to make you believe they are going to subpenoa you, but its all malarky. Nicky calls all the time. Say's "you've been notified"... I toy with with them and let them know I know, they are not even a legal entity, and saying they are IS illegal, and it's also harrasment. If I could find out where they are calling from I would make a report to the local police, but unfortunately, that is not possible
