This is a recorded message left on my voicemail from the above number. A man with a very heavy middle eastern sounding accent says "The very second you receive this message, I need you to leave your work aside and dial a number" then he leaves the number and says "Now if you fail to return the call or in case I don't hear from you or your trial attorney, the only thing I can do is wish you a happy life," and that law enforcement will be at your doorstep. I received this call twice today, and did not call back. It's pretty scary when you first hear it, but I surfed the web and it seems like this outfit uses lots of other numbers to leave the same message.
I got that too, bu t i know these are SCAM calls, don't fall for it and don't be afraid, I try to call back and no one pick up the phone. One time i got call similar to this so i call back and shut him up for good.
Try not to get upset: That's exactly what they want because you're likely to make bad decisions when you're upset. They are criminals calling via cheap (and untraceable) internet phone connections. You should report them to law enforcement – it won't get them arrested but it'll help you when the authorities confirm to you that it's a scam.
Yes I just received the same phone call, that was left on my answering machine. They said the exact same things that Toni received. Don't they have anything better to do than scare you with their threats.
