We just got a call from this number at a retail location. We always gotta answer the phone! Answered with 'Thanks for calling **, this is **' there was a short pause then it sounded like a real person talking said her name was Ana Hill she was calling about our recent credit card usage, I hung up.
I let it go to voicemail. It was a recording. The recording left a message. Here's what it said…more or less (starting mid-sentence):
"......to follow up on that information to let you know that you can still take advantage of this terrific program. Your card companies have authorized us to contact you and to show you how to
lower your interest rates to as low as 1.9%.
This is a limited time offer so it's important to speak to one of our representatives today...
