Got a call from this number on my office phone today. Caller ID said "CDC". Thinking that it's the Centers for Disease Control calling about the zombie apocalypse I answered but there was nobody on the other end. Just dead silence. The walkers must have gotten to them...

Call went to voicemail. Caller identified as "Ashley" chirped about our having called last week about credit card rates (which we didn't), blathering on about consolidating credit cards. Left callback phone number 877-828-7254 which is also listed in 800 NOTES as a credit card telemarketer.
Received a call on my mobile phone. After reading a number of posts on this site and elsewhere, I do not answer calls from unknown numbers. I'm getting these types of calls each week. Seems like a new number/source each week. Last week, Seattle WA. This week, Dallas, TX.
This number is pretty scetchy. I didn't answer but they also left me a message saying they talked to me last week. When thye started the message they said " Hey guys..." Since they didn't identify me as a female im assuming its a recording they send out to random numbers.
