Got a call the Indian guy got really snappy because(you can also hear everyone telemarketing in the background) I told him to call me back about that I was kind of busy.. He insisted he was from us financial resources. he called from 1 214-405-1634 he was saying he was from kind of government grant. Scammers
1st time they called, I talked to a lady that barely spoke English. She gave me little to no info about the place other then it was for a government grant but I had to pay $3.80 in order to get it. If its free money as they say, why do I have to pay? She said after I pay they would sent me a confirmation email and I told her send me the email b4 I send u info and she refused. Scam written all over it. And I said I get paid tomorrow, call me back then and she said if I couldn't pay it today me nor my family well be eligible every again. I said no and she hung up on me. Then about an hour later, sane number called and a man answered, also couldn't speak English well, and tried again. I said im not falling for the scam and hung up on me. The nerve of some people
My brother got a call similar to this and he was all excited. I talked to this lady who could barely speak English and she too insisted that I do this now or he would not be eligible ever again. I smelled a rat and advised her that if I was not allowed to check this out beforehand I was not interested. On and on she went until I told her he was not interested and she hung up. Please beware of any call you receive from US Financial Resources as it is totally bogus and warn all of your friends and family especially the ones that are elderly and might fall for the story spun by these scum bags. My brother is on disability with a fixed income and eager to take advantage of anything that might give him an opportunity for a better quality of life. I am glad that I was around to protect him from people that have nothing better to do than prey on innocent victims. My brother was shocked when he learned that he was almost scammed and said that it really sounded for real, he is learning.
I got a call from this number telling me that I was approved for government grant money for school. He told me he was from UF finace.The man that I talked to wasn't very clear with his English. He then told me I needed to pay a 3.87 registration fee over the phone to receive my money. I asked him why if it was free & he hung up lol scammers don't fall for it.
I had a similar experience as every one else. A woman with a very heavy accent saying she was with the US Financial services asked something about a grant. As soon as I mentioned that I've been getting some weird calls lately she hung up. Scam
