I can only block a total of 30 numbers on my landline, and have to go through and randomly remove a few from that list occasionally to add new ones, and just hope the ones I remove have moved on to new victims. I also hit the magic Senior age a few years back, so I get a lot of those calls too.
That's why I got rid of my landline. I only got telemarketer and/or scam calls and recorded political calls. It was terrible. Have never regretted not having a landline. ( I do block these calls on my cell phone, and hope there is not a maximum number. Never thought to ask that.) Thank you to everyone who identifies these scumbags on 800 Notes.
Ever since 9/11 I will NEVER get rid of my landline. Tried to use my cell all day that day; could not; lines jammed. Ended up putting long distance on my landline just to make sure every loved one in NY was safe that day (they were.)
Also, cells are not immune to these calls. I actually came here today because I got a call from this spam # on my cell.
Student loans? Never had any, and if I had, they'd have been paid off for decades by now!
