Was called this morning by someone named Daniel asking for the owner of the company I work for and asked for the cell number when he was told the owner was not in the office. Told me he was from D&M Construction in Dallas, TX - this was a lie - I DID NOT give his info to the owner or the owners cell phone to this place! Scam for sure!
I got this phone call claiming to be a supplier and insisted to talk to one of our employees saying he had an apointment at a certain time. Turns out to be a debt collector who was very rude and pushy. Very unprofessional disguising himself to be somethung he is not and calling at a business location!
Calls asking for same person every time. Very rude. They will not leave more than a phone number. Says it is very important that I need to check to see if that person is in the office, are you sure that person is not in?

I received a call from a pleasant salesman named Dan. He presented himself very well. A little aggressive, I might say.
This salesman pretty much let me know he's with a collection agency and he wanted to quote me a rate. Well it so happens that i have 1 or 2 guys that owe me money so I told the guy what i had been experiencing with my delinquent customers. The salesmen gave me a great rate with a time frame and I didn't have to pay anything up front. These guys apparently work for FREE. Unless they collect the money that is. Then you owe them a percentage of course. These guys actually collected my money. My customer actually paid me. I havn't talked to this customer in about 1 yr and this collection agency had my customer come down and write me a check then I cut them their percentage since they did a Fantastic Job. I will be using these guys again.
Got a call from this man asking for my boss by first name. He said that my boss was expecting his call. I said hes not here can I take a message. He said just put him on the phone, he is expecting me. I asked who he was. Gave me a name of John Nava and then went off telling me that I need to just put him on the phone because he "my boss" wanted to talk to him. So I yelled at him and told him that he wasnt here and then he hung up.
