Reported name as Kevin. Asked for someone not here, insisted I put them on the phone. Typical bill collector tactics. Since I don't owe anything to anyone, I blocked the number just because of his abrasive attitude.
Got a call yesterday morning from this number. He said "Hey Anna, it's me. Just letting you know I'm sending someone out to collect the money you owe. Are you going to be home between now and noon." I told him I didn't owe anything and didn't know who he was. He started laughing and said "I'm just kidding. But do you have bills you'd like us to collect for you?" I own a business and told him I didn't need his help for my business or personal!!!! It was so aggravating, totally pissed me off!! What a bunch of jerks that have nothing better to do.
Said his name was dan, asked for owner by first name, tried to pass himself off as a buddy of his at first, then switched to a business tone, saying they has a scheduled call, very important. Told him the owner was not available, in a meeting, he insisted i get him out of his meeting, i stuck this caller on prolonged hold for a bit as he was rude then told him he had the option to leave a msg. He hung up. He called twice back to back.
"Paul" called and asked for the CEO by first name and that he was expecting his call at 9am Central. I knew that was a lie. I said he wasn't available. "Paul" told me to put the phone down and walk to the CEO's office and tell him he was on the phone. I kept reiterating he was not available and eventually told "Paul" to have a nice day and hung up.
Just got a call from this number. The guy asked for the owner by name. I asked for his name and he said Andy. He said that the owner expects his call before 10 AM. I told him that I don't believe that's the case. He got mad and said, he indeed expects his call and I should connect him. I again, told him that I don't believe him. Since I know that my boss doesn't waist his time with callers like him, I just hanged up the phone. Very rude guy.
