This is a SCAM, do not pay them, give them the # to your local police department and FBI as they request to speak to your attorney of record. ONce they call those #'s the calls are automatically traced. I have been getting calls because I was used as a reference for a friend and there is no such thing as debtors jail. They will not send you anything for verification if you owe the debt. If you owed it they would be able to send you something. Report them to the FCC and start a file, each time they call using a different name and spoofing from your local area code. If you do not recognize the # do not pick up.
