Called my aunt, who I live with. Claiming that I had legal actions pending for a loan that was delinquent. I have pulled out loans but I've kept record and have paid the two companies back and have settlement letters from those two companies. I was very confused about them calling my Aunt and not me as well as me owing a loan amount when I've already paid off the companies I owed money to. Complete scam and I have filed a report against them. How cowardly of them to call relatives and not me. My number has never changed. It's a scam for sure. If you have loans and receive the call. My advice for you guys is too ask which company you "owe" and contact that company specifically for questions about this call. Even though some have said they have all your information, always remember to never agree to anything or give out personal information without being 100% sure first.
They called saying i owed an old payday loan and that the creditor was going to sue me if i did not settle with them. They never gave me the same amount owed. And did not want to give out much info about themselfs. Investment firm of some sort. Very pushy on me paying them.
Saying I owed a payday loan from 6 years ago. Total scam. I think they bought old bank records. Contact the federal trade commission and report all information if they call you
Not even calling my phone numbers, calling relatives and acquaintances. Stating I owe a payday loan claimed they deposited 300 dollars into my checking out 2 years ago, said I now owe them 2585 dollars. Kept asking for my SS#. and wanting my checking account information. Stated there is a court date already set, but couldn't tell when or what court. told them if I owed them money which I don't they should have my phone # and to call me back on that number finally hung up on them.
