This number is for a collection agency of some sort. They called my father on 4/8/09 and lead him to believe that they were from the Social Security Administration.
The caller asked for my social security number, but did not get it. He then implied that he was from a collection agency, and that there was a lawsuit planned against me.
They called again from the same number the following day, 4/9/09, and were told that I did not live in the state my father lives in.

This is great. I called the caller ID that was on my cell phone 214-484-0028 and the message was regarding my social security number. The return number was 866-778-0624. I finally got a "Mr. Harold Green" to answer. He asked for my reference number and said the company was QAR and became very upset when I continued to ask what type of business they are. He finally said they were an Asset and Employment Verification company. Whatever. I asked what the address was and he said "Why do you need that? I don't see why you need that" I said well you were calling from a 214 area code so that means you must be in Dallas so I would like to know where. He told me that I was becoming hostile. hahahahahahaha. He finally blurted out 3806 Union St Buffalo, NY. I said then why would you have a 214 number and he actually said, "I have no idea. I would like to assist you but you are very hostile" "Call me back when you have calmed down" AND THEN HE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These people are spineless criminals who are cowards when questioned. They fold when given a dose of their own medicine.
sir if you are going to tell your story do everyone a favor and tell the truth for once. Ok, two years later i remember the way that you treated me you didnt, get anybody do you honestly think that you got someone? what does that mean? nobody blames you for not having the money to pay your debts sir but is a great injustice for you and everyone involved for you to lie, Im currently in law school now as per my insider perspective has shed a light to me as to the truly gross treatment or mistreatment of the consumer and for your information it is the mngmnt that sets the tone for the conversation that you have with a collector it is not the collectors fault they are recorded and criticized if they do not get the money in addition to my proper name being dragged through the mud really bothers me when the people who are responsible sit back and collect the money when i graduate law school none of these institutions will be safe no matter how fdcpa compliant that they are. now i could tell you how to shut down every one of them but im not ready yet i truly will not allow my good name to be shamed as it has been....
This agency (?) calls daily to my cell leaving messages for a Jason Williams that is unknown to me and never has owned this number. The instructions are to call back with your social security number for verfication of who you are. That would be a scam to collect social security numbers to me.
I too called Harold Green, he has an attitude problem.
Green yelled like a crazy man at me, and I told him off good.
Harold Green is a pencil pushing coward, talk like that to my face and see what happens.
QAR is a horrible company, treat them like they treat others, yell back at Green.
