I GOT A CALL FROM THAT NUMBER ALSO. IT LEFT A MESSAGE WITH A 800 # TO CALL BACK TO. I CALLED IT AND WAS PUT ON HOLD RIGHT AWAY. I WAS USING MY FAX LINE AND KNEW NO ONE WOULD BE FAXING ME THAT NITE SO I LEFT THE LINE OPEN. 3 & 1/2 HOURS LATER I WAS STILL ON HOLD WITH THEM PAYING THE 800# BILL. I FINALLY HUNG UP AND WENT TO BED. THEY HAVE A NEW 800 # NOW. IT IS 800-474-6075 IF YOU WANT TO RUN UP THIER BILL.
I just received yet another call from this number! I had forgotten all about it until I googled the # again and got this number again. I, too, am going to make sure I put "Do Not Answer" as the caller ID for this number. I never answer calls from #'s I don't recognize anyway but I really hope it stops soon.
I work at a police department and the automated number called all our police numbers. I pressed 1 to speak to a live person and she assured me our number would be removed.
It's a mortgage company or something.
I have received numerous calls and voicemails from this number, all of which were very similar to the contacts described above. This harrassment has been going on for about a year now and the caller has used multiple IDs throughout that time. The 214 number seems to be the most common; in fact, I just had three missed calls from that number about 30 minutes ago. Every time, whether I answer or let it go to voicemail, I get the "It's imperative that you call me back" recording about credit card debt.
If I ever meet Jeffrey Klein or anyone associated with these calls, I hope I have the opportunity to punch them in the teeth.
