I got a call from this number - Caller ID says Sixtel, Inc.
I have no idea who this is, but the operator on the other end only spoke Spanish. I answered Hello, and they said Bueno. I said "Excuse me?" and was met with more Spanish I do not understand. When I said "no habla espanol" it sounded like he hung out on the line for a little bit before hanging up with NO explination whatsoever.
a Google search revealed that Sixtel is some sort of pay up front VoIP, although I think it may not have been the company, rather someone using the phone service.
Just received a call from the same company except the accent was one from India. The caller ask for financial information for a auto loan I've never applied to receive. When questioned the caller laughed losing his accent and hung-up.
I, too, received a call telling me that my auto loan had been approved by his company, a loan I never applied for. When I told him I never applied for this loan and he had the wrong person, he hung up quickly. Someone needs to stop this nonsense. I thought we were supposed to be protected from telephone solicitors? Accent sounded like it was from India.
