I just received a call from this that wanted to confirm information for me as a finalist in a Million Dollar Sweepstakes that I supposedly entered. I don't remember entering. I asked if there was going to be something sold to me and if so I wasn't interested. He told me I was finalist and that was a big deal. He asked if I would confirm some information and I said it depends on what he's confirming. He asked if I was between 18(?) and 68 and I asked if at the end of the confirmation was he going to sell me anything. He hung up on me.
They called me and then hung up on me. So I called the number back (wish I'd Googled it first), and she said, "Hello, this is Amy from (unintelligible, something like Ship Jobs), can you hear me okay?" I asked, "What company did you say this was?" At that point we were disconnected. I Googled it on whitepages.com, and they label it as "suspected spam." from Red Oak, Texas. People there identified it as an automated phone call about school opportunities. But both I time got the call, it was live (not automated) and it was the lady I mentioned above, Amy. Also Whitepages.com identifies it as "(214) 617-2615, Bandwidth SMSEnabled VoIP, Red Oak, TX
I keep getting calls from this number. I don't answer them as I don't know them. They never leave a message and call incessantly. I have blocked them and I find it a nuisance. If it were a legitimate call then they would leave a message.
