Here I am again (see two messages above). The caller kept the line open this time. Voice mail started recording. The sound of many voices (boiler room) was in the background. Then a female voice said, as if talking to a person standing nearby, "This number has been changed." That's hilarious because, counting the previous generations who have owned the business, the number has belonged to the same company for around 60 years.
Caller ID was VERTICAL". Called this morning asking to speak person who makes financial decisions. Told the woman to take our number off her list. she continued to talk, asking if I made financial decisions (with boiler room voices in background) Hung up at that point.
This number called primary business line. CID shows DALLAS TX instead of the name of the caller. We transferred it to voice mail. Caller hung up during outgoing message.
