Caller ID gave no name but the message on voicemail was the Marriot Hotel Scam. Suspecting a spoof, I called the number and talked to the very polite woman who answered. She had not made the call. This was her personal cell phone number. I explained to her what spoofing was as she had no idea why people were calling her and some were yelling profanity at her for calling them. I told her to just hang up on them and to not get involved. She was very grateful for the advice and for the explanation of what was happening.
