This happened with me too. I gave "Shelly" the address to the Maryland state police as that was where the first number was from. I keep telling them to stop texting me and don't want to make the sale to them but they won't stop.

Then she switched to this # 214-699-5197 a few days later.
This is awesome. I had the exact same thing happen to me. This person (named Shelly Gates) started with the phone number 408-618-2863. She later texted me from 214-699-5197 asking where to mail the check. I gave her a PO Box to mail the check. Upon receipt, it was over the agreed amount. Already suspicious, I called the bank named on the check. The account number matched the account for a cashiers check but the check number in the upper right hand corner was not legit. I texted "Shelly" back asking where my for sale item was being shipped to and who the moving company was. Four hours later I have not heard back from Shelly. There you go.
This process needs to be shown to everyone that has something for sale on sites like Craigs List.

This person is a scammer. They sent me a text from 949-281-4396 first then switched over to 214-699-5197 a couple days later. They were responding to my ad on KSL and said they sent a cashiers check and to let them know when I have cashed it.
