I got a voicemail from this number. It was some guy with a heavy duty, Indian accent claiming to be "John White." He started out by saying, "This message is intended to contact you." The grammar throughout the message was so poor and broken. He went on to say the US Treasury was threatening an "enforcement action." It's such an obvious scam.
A male with an Indian accent who said his name is John White and with the US Treasury department left a voice mail with the instruction to call 214.699.5990. I called back knowing it was a scam and a woman who identified herself as Officer Veronica asked for me by name. I didn't identify myself but asked if I could help her. She said she had an arrest warrant for my husband. I called her on her bs and she hung up. When I called the number back it automatically disconnected.
The first red flag should be the Indian guy claiming to be "John White." The second red flag was the claim that the call came from U.S. Treasury (which doesn't contact you via phone). SCAM. Do NOT return call. Add to your reject/block list.
