I got the same call as everyone. I called them back and they have a very cute scam to get money - they never really ask for money they just threaten you with being arrested over a debt. They told me a police officer would be at my home in 45 Mins. I gave the guy directions to my home. After 45, i called back and asked where the officer was and that i was acting for him. they hung up. so I called back again and asked if I could turn myself in - they hung up. I called 3 more times and they started getting upset. They blocked my call the 5 times i called. They finally answered again, and said they were looking for someone with a different last name. I'm going to call back every day, to make sure its not me they need to talk to.
I just got called Mon June 6-16, about 1/2 hour ago from 214-702-5030. An automated voice of an officer whose name was bleeped out, called for the U.S. Treasury stating a lawsuit was pending against me (again). Neither the IRS nor the U.S. Treasury calls people to threaten arrest.
They called and said it was the US Treasury, I needed to call them as there was going to be an arrest warrant filed on me! Well, I had just renewed my base security card and if there was anything like that it wouldn't have been renewed! So, I call BS!!!
