Got a call from this company claiming they were Home Security Center wanting to "give away a free system for my home". He identified himself as Chris Burks and said their corporate office was based out of Houston but the rude caller didn't give me a whole lot more info when I asked more questions about the company. He said he was "just the appointment setter". I asked for his license number and that's when he said I was "funny" and hung up.
Gal with a definite Northern (NYC, Brooklyn) accent said she was with Home Security and they had several GE home security systems they were giving away (right!). She asked if we had ever considered having one in our home. I told her we had a security system and were not interested in replacing it. I have tried to block all these calls and should not have answered but as you say.. they just keep calling.
