Same as previous comment but different phone #, caller identified as Steve Martin re 2nd notice of US Treasury action for federal criminal office. Had foreign accent and strange phrasing. Did not mention my name. Called 4 x in a row. Bogus, no legal action would be handled through phone messaging.
The same thing happened to me. The caller called three times in a row, left a message about a second notice of US Treasury action, etc. Foreign accent and difficult to understand on my answering machine.

We have received several reports from citizens in Pinole and Hercules of a caller purporting to be with the US Treasury Department and threatening citizens with a Federal offense if the citizens did not pay the caller. The caller gives the name "Steve Martin" and has an Asian or East Indian accent. Some of the caller ID have provided: 334-526-0032, 214-736-3219, and 360-200-0964 for the caller. I just received 6 calls from this phone number saying they were from the Us Dept of Treasury and this would be considered the 2nd attempt to reach me. If I didn't call back then further action will be taken my a magistrate judge or grand jury. The man has a very heavy accent it sounds like his name is Steve Martin. Don't know if this is a scam or what.
