I just let AMI Direct know that "Amber's" lack of identifying who she represents and why she's calling cost them a potential client. I don't mind cold calls, but leave a professional message.
Googled her number and read these messages so i called her back. ironically she is very knowledgeable and didn't give me the pressure-filled pitch most sales people typically do. I asked her to quote me on a current project i am working on and she surprisingly came in lower than what I was quoted from CDW. For the ones who decided not to call her back, your loss. I also asked her about her voicemail and she said, "if I told you who I was and what i did and my reason for calling you never would have called me back anyway, right?" She makes a good point.
