One of the sure signs of a job scam is (always) money. The salary & benefits DO NOT match the job. You'll also find: (a) They use free web based email address' (b) They want to conduct job interviews by text, or web chat, or not at all. Most of these involve either you giving up lots of personal, & banking information, or you'll get a check (the bouncy kind). Check everything on the internet. Name, address, phone number. If the phone number led you here - you're off to a bad start about them.
This phone # offer me a job to do survey for Alliant Credit Union stated they would paid $300.00 per week for survey but I couldn't get started until I open up and account with the bank for free. Few minute ago I received a text asking how I was doing today. This a total scam.
I had received the same text and I told the man I was aware of his scam from the beginning. He went as far as to call me private of course. Jonah Jacksonsounds like a man from an island possibly Jamaica and the number that they are using is a texas area code on a bunner phone"pre-paid". BEWARE!
Now they are saying his name is Kevin John with Glade Cross Consulting. The company would like to offer me a position after they review my resume from CareerBuilders.com. Came from the phone number 214-785-1684. Contacted that company which is out of state they have not responded to my email. Career Builders need to put a stop to this going on to many people out of work that will fall for this scam
Had the same thing happen to me, only it was from Resume Bucket. I actually looked up the company and it shows an environment survey company. In the email, it describes a mystery shopper job. That sent up red flags in my mind, so I am glad that you posted this.
