I just got the same e-mail but from an Angela how stupid do these people think we are the IRS does not send e-mails especially from a gmail account. MORONS.
Caller ID says NIKETU PAREKH. Leaves a recorded message in a very robotic voice saying something about an arrest warrant having been issued in "your name" and to call back the number above for more information. This is a scam. Please do not respond to it.
Got the same call. Called back and they said they have an arrest warrant in my name. I've never even been to Texas. Told them my husband works for the federal government and I was going to pass his name and number to him and he hung up. Husband got upset that I had called back. Didn't give them any info. It was very upsetting that they had my name and number. Don't know who it should be reported to so they can be stopped.
Got the exact same call and did not answer. Caller left the same message. Phone number must be spoofed because what is a person with the name "NIKETU PAREKH" doing in Texas.
